A New Countdown!
A new countdown has begun!! I received my Work Permit from KCIS this morning, which now really gets the ball rolling!! I have to process this permit through the Chinese Consulate in Houston in order to receive the VISA in order to enter China. I am not loving the domino effect!!
It will take about 8 days (working) to complete the VISA process, so my hopes of flying out of Tulsa on July 24th are dashed! I now have a new plan!
I am in Kentucky right now, and scheduled to return to Tulsa tomorrow (July 19th). I will then be able to ship off my documents to the visa company ($320). It will take 8 days processing from there, and I should have my visa back on or before August 4th. I will then either fly out on August 5th or August 7th (for an additional $250). It is now crunch time, and my anticipation is at max capacity.
